Student Station      : 2

Breif description of SIMULATORS and courses:

Instructor console:

To make exercise with ownship and target ships ( about 40) in different channels/areas or high sea in different environment as route, speed, course, time , weather, wave etc.Excercise creation , editing, saving, repalying, monitoring etc.Loading exercise and changing the parameters, changing the telegraph and thursters, controlling position and radar angle as ships change it's course & speed, chage type of steering follow up and non-follow up .Auto -piloting as the course set in the auto-pilot.

RADAR and ARPA Obsrvation and Plotting :

In radar all exercise objects available within the coverage area presented. To acquire and track taget data correction.ARPA grades concur with reflected signals.Arpa results with manual plotting.Finding CPA and TCPA.Target tracking alarms and their acknowedgment.Switchable to HUp,NUp,CUp ,true motion, realative motion.Targets acquired upon entry in guard zones.Tune and switch to UAIS on own ship and target ships.Varying te ranges the coastline scale and target changing position.

ECDIS Functionality:

Loading the execise ECDIS displays excecise area, ship's initial position and route .The ship on chart position and co-ordinates, speed with the GPS position as primary setting .To transmit new rute to the instructor's terminal , to the auto-pilot, GPS and RADAR acquired target's data transmitted to the ECDIS.UAIS transmission of static , dynamic and voyage data about the corresponding with vessels to ECDIS.Sending safety message from one own ship to another from the ECDIS and also from the ship targets from the instructor. The  radar picture transmision to ECDIS as overlaid.

Audile audio signal from own ship .Audible engine sound as changes RPM by telegraph and by turning sound signal in instructor own and TG vessel sound audible.Sound  audible in performing a colision , grounding , bumping into the berth.

Operating hard ware handling and indicator with conning display .GPS Operating  GPS with correct information and responding as te setting.Virtual bridge-changes ship's course and speed with a change of the Telegraph and thursters handle position and radar angle.Switching to ECDIS , Radar and visual consoles.Bearing dispay-Switching compass mode from Gyro to magnetic.
